A quicky is a simple & fast yet highly nutritious & delicious recipe. Because sometimes you need that extra minute saved to take a deep breath, dance, sit & observe, hug a friend, do laundry, drink mocktails in the park, save the world or salute the sun. This particular recipe is made with matcha, a Japanese green tea that’s traditionally used during tea ceremonies. It is considered to be one of the richest antioxidant sources. It boosts metabolism, helps your body to do its daily detoxification and aids concentration. I use matcha as THE perfect, nutrient-dense substitute for coffee. As it is so interwoven with ancient zen-based ceremony, it is the perfect food to enjoy serenely and peacefully. You may do this by slowly preparing all ingredients, by placing them in your blender at a low speed and by slowly pouring it in your prettiest cup(s). To then sit down (together) and enjoy it for minute son end, cherishing every sip.
Happy tea smoothie making,
