cardboard dollhouse

I’m all about reusing and recycling the goodness that’s right within reach. I don’t like too much of anything and am a minimalist to the bone but sometimes the stuff we consider trash can be turned into the most fantastic and fantasy-filled treasure.

This time around I used different types of cardboard, tesa tape & scissors to create a dollhouse for our little one. The top flaps of a cardboard box were easily bend and cut into a rooftype shape. Left-over ribbed cardboard was used to close the top gap. Tesa tape was used to stick it all together, frame the edges of the roof and create (the illusion of) side windows. The result: a bare house that leaves enough to your childs wild imagination.

I hope this sparkles your own inner creative, helps you construct amazing stuff with and for your children and gives you inspiration to play!
